wagons full of sadies stuff that she packs for the hopital |
Okay so now that everyone is all caught up, I am done for the night. There was so much to say that has led up to this point so I crammed it into one day of writing. Alot of stuff has went unsaid, but when I look back on these past months I am so overwhelmed by it all that I don't know where to start. Sadie has treatment tomorrow so we gotta pack and get ready for another hospital stay. She receives a 24 hour drip among other chemos and cant leave until it clears her kidneys. A couple weeks ago it took 7 days for that to happen. Hopefully this time it is much shorter. Aunt Catherine, Connie, and Mallory, the dogs cant wait to see you and I'm not a bit sad to not see them for a couple days. Sounds awful but they drive me nuts. Deuce got out four times today and I was secretly hoping he would find a new home but the neighbors kept bringing him back. Faith spilt a whole jar of pizza sauce on the couch that Sadie just had to have sitting next to her, and Bitty, well.....need I say more. Have fun girls. I love you so much and I appreciate all that you do. You are so wonderful. I'm not just kissing your ass either. I truly mean it.
Well I hope this week there are more good days than bad. Hurry home praying for a short stay this week. I was sitting at the computer today and a little bird sat on my shoulder and whispered in my ear and wanted me to send a little message from Sadie to mom Jess.......
ReplyDelete"You can see it in our eyes,
in tender hugs and long good-byes,
a love that only moms and daughters know.
You can see it in our smiles,
through passing years and changing styles,
a friendship that continually seems to grow.
You can see it in our lives,
the joy each one of them derives,
in just knowing that the other one is there...
To care and to understand,
lend an ear or hold a hand,
and to celebrate the memories they share.
